Ceramic Coating in New Town, Kolkata

Ceramic Coating for New Town parking

In New Town basements the car is out of the sun and rain, which helps a coating cure. The point of coating here is that construction dust sits on the coating rather than the paint and comes off with far less contact at each later wash.

Wide roads but long distances to any wash bay, and almost every car lives in a basement or podium slot where hosing is not allowed. Dust from continuing construction across the Action Areas settles daily.

Ceramic coating bonds a hydrophobic layer to the clear coat, so dust and water sheet off instead of keying into the paint. On Kolkata roads — monsoon grime, construction dust, bird lime near tree-lined South Kolkata streets — the practical benefit is that contaminants sit on the coating rather than the paint, and come off with far less contact.
